In 1976, Pierre Lefebvre started his training in the manufacturing of recliners that were sold mainly to Sears Canada. He was trained in the upholstery of the arm part of recliners. It took him a day to complete one pair. Even though he was at first totally discouraged at his performance, he eventually was able to produce a hundred pairs a day.
Mr Lefebvre trained in all the aspects of the industry, from frame assembly to pattern cutting, staining and refinishing, shipping, receiving, supervisor and manager’s assistant.
The company he was working for closed their operation and returned to Montreal. Mr Lefebvre, however, decided to stay back and started working for a chemical plant. He got his tickets as a stationary engineer for high pressure boilers.
In 1985, enjoying the furniture industry, Pierre Lefebvre started his business part-time and continued working at the chemical plant.
In 1995, he dedicated himself to Lefebvre’s Upholstery full-time, and here we are providing this service to you years later!
